The Love Guru

I have to admit, I am looking forward to seeing The Love Guru in theaters this Friday.  It’s sure to be a fun movie, staring Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, and Justin Timberlake.  Mike Myers is such a funny guy and I look forward to seeing Justin in action on the big screen!  (wink…wink)

Summer Locks

As we all know, summer can be very hard on hair - especially color treated hair.  There are however a few simple steps you can take to protect your mane this season. 

For those of you who spend a lot of time at the beach or poolside, the best thing to do is wear a hat.  If you choose not to wear a hat, try combing a deep conditioner (Bella’s Shine On Hairmask works great!) through your hair.  This will help to protect and condition your hair while you are relaxing in the sun.  Finally, be sure to use a gentler shampoo in the summer to keep from striping the hair of natural oils.

Sex and the City

Bella loves Sex and the City! We are super excited for the new movie. No, no…not because of Mr. Big. Because of the ultra sexy, fabulous and stylish girls. We missed ‘em. Those reruns just aren’t doing it for us. Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha are our kinda girls!! They’d look perfect in a Bella nightie and I am sure they’d love a soak in the the new bath salt and oil that are coming soon. We’ll be first in line to see what they’ve been up to…and of course to see what they’re wearing. Okay, and to see Mr. Big…

Healthy Skin for a Beautiful Tomorrow

Seems these days everywhere you look there is a newer, better way to fight aging skin.  When in fact there are a few simple steps you can take to ward off the early signs of aging and keep your skin healthy.  In addition to eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, and exercise - the following are great ways to put your best face forward.

Moisturize - Keep your skin hydrated day and night.  Use an oil-free moisturizer with an SPF in the morning and a Hyaluronic acid gel in the evening (this helps lock in moisture while you sleep). 

Exfoliate - Removing the layer of dead skin cells from your face not only gives you radiant skin, it also helps with acne and fine lines. 

Protect - Sunscreen is a must have for healthy skin.  Almost every moisturizer out there contains some level of SPF.  If you need a little more color try a tinted lotion for an extra glow.

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer…Bella approved!

Okay we know Jen Aniston (that’s right we call her Jen) is not a heartbroken and lonely gal. She’s a super beautiful, uber-talented movie star. But something about her new relationship with guitar wielding popster John Mayer makes us go, “that’s right…you go girl!”

He’s so cool. She’s so cool. We like it. We’ve just been waiting for Jen’s world to change and we’re not afraid to say it. I mean sometimes you’ve just got to say what you need to say. Sorry, no more “cleverly using Mayer song titles in the blog” (okay maybe it wasn’t all that clever).

We don’t just like Jen because she dig’s Bella (Us Weekly mentioned that she is a fan of some of Bella’s lip goodies). And we don’t just like John because of his really funny guest spot on the Dave Chappelle show a few years ago.

We just like them both and we like ‘em together.

(I made it through that whole thing without any “body is a wonderland” references…whew.)
