“I once had a sweet little doll, the prettiest doll in the world…”
Flipping through the latest fashion magazines it’s apparent that spring and summer looks are all about looking sweet and sophisticated. Thanks to the inspirations of Marc Jacobs, Valentino, and Zac Posen, frills and bows are gracing neck lines and adorning waists, and to match these new feminine styles, beauty trends are taking a turn for the softer side of the makeup palette. Neutral shadows and luscious long black lashes touched off with the perfect bubble gum matte lipstick are what make this look, shown on the always gorgeous Jaime Pressly.
To get your own baby doll look, start the eyes with a neutral shadow, like Bella’s Hello Again Iridescent pearl. Then apply a pinky shadow-Bella’s Cracklin Rosie Sparkling pale pink is perfect- and apply from the crease to the below the eyebrow. Next take Ooh la la liner and create a thin but bold line from
the corner of the eye to the end of the lash line on both the top and bottom lash lines. Private Eye Mascara will create long black lashes classic of any baby doll, add the finishing Baby Love Lip Gloss and you’re ready to go. Play nice!

I am so grateful for the variety of styles, colors and options that have become available, even in the plus size area; and yes plus size is sexy too, in case you were wondering.
